Great attention to detail - a lot of nice small touches.. The first game in this series was very fun, it had puzzles and figuring them out was a ton of fun, it did get a little dull, but the puzzle solving aspect kept me engaged for hours as I tried to figure them out (and some of them were very hard). This version is all about the fighting and boy does it get dull and repetetive fast, you do litteraly the same thing stage after stage, with your only challenge being the terrible camera panning and cheap enemies that keep hiting ou on the ground (till you use the special and just kill everything easily). After 10 levels, I had enough, oh, and the outfits? they cost the equivilant of 10 stages worth of gold, and the amount of gold you get each stage is exactly the same as stage 1. And the stage layouts are nearly identical. I may get this game again when it's MUCH cheaper (like $3), it's not worth it for $11, too basicly too repetetive, graphics are too terrible.. The only thing I am not able to understand in this game is why she has no weapons and why can't she use her hands, other than that the game is really fun to play, especially when you enlarge those melons they look awesome & It encourages you to fight more and more. The story is descent one, a girl out to prove her innocence and wants to clean her hands off a murder. Fights her way to victory in one battle or the other with MAGEDOLLS which are created by some witch who herself lost control over them. Lack of weapons and lack of hand to hand combat for the main character is a drawback, even a pet would have been a great help, all you have to do is collect gold coins and buy lingerene or dress or accessories with every item costing you 500 gold. Gold is hard to collect, and it becomes tougher as you move up the levels. Also I found that makeup items are missing, and no voice customizations either, even the speech between two characters in the main story are shadowed by music. Also the clothes are fragile and tend to break after more than two hits. But the game is a superhit, i strongly recommend this game. It is awesome to play with xbox controller.. Surprisingly good for an indie game. I hope the creator makes a part 3.
